It's official. There will be no ban on kratom in FL this legislative session. The bill passed out of committee as amended asking only for the FL Attorney General to head up a non-scientific study to produce a non-binding recommendation on whether Kraten, according to Jacobs' expert, Dr. James Hall, should be scheduled. It's in the hands of the AG office to decide whether there is money to even take something like this on when they are operating under this fiscal year's budget restrictions and the Fl Dept of Law Enforcement said they will not dedicate any full time employees to this.
